ShowTimer - Satellite Acquisition - and FTP Transfers
Unattended Satellite or live source Acquisition and FTP transfers - ShowTimer manages satellite Network feeds or live events by controlling satellite dishes, receiver and routers with a primary and up to two backup recording locations for each event. Create Record schedules effortlessly with Order Entry, Florical's "traffic" software for Satellite feeds and FTP transfers. All record data is entered into the Florical database for use with on-air automation. The PathFire option automatically pushes programs from PathFire to air servers and populates the Florical database with asset metadata.

MediaFiler - Manual Ingest
Record, Review and Accept - MediaFiler makes it easy to prepare material for broadcast automation. With frame accurate machine control and access to the Florical Media Database, MediaFiler seamlessly ingests material in three steps. First, the source material is selected and recorded into one or more target machines. Once recording begins, MediaFiler can provide a frame-by-frame review of the target material to confirm success. When a transfer is accepted, the database is updated and the material is ready for automation. To help expedite the review process, MediaFiler lets you begin automatic playback of material as it is recorded on certain video servers. If you detect an error in the recorded material, the ingest process can be stopped right away without having to wait for the complete transfer.

MediaTimer - Segmentation and Effect placement
Segment timing and bug placement - Media Timer is Florical's solution to quickly and accurately determining segment SOMs and durations. The times are automatically updated in the Florical media database for precision on-air performance. The Traffic Assist option allows operators to place bugs, crawls and logos in program material so as to maximize the affect and minimize on-air, last minute decisions. By placing the bugs during the review process you will be able show the bug only when it would not interfere with the active portion of the screen.

Shuttle Jog Controller - Manual Source Control
Although the source can easily be controlled from the MediaFiler and MediaTimer software interface (GUI), we also offer an optional manual controller that emulates a DVR shuttle jog knob controller.  Click the link to see it.
