Florical 2007 New Products Summary

Florical Systems will introduce several new products at NAB 2007 with a focus on significant enhancements to Florical's automation products that will increase flexibility by streamlining the on-air presentation functionality as well as improve efficiencies in supervision and monitoring.

Gainesville, FL - February 5, 2007
Florical Systems will introduce several new products and system enhancements that extend its lead in broadcast automation systems at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention (NAB) in Las Vegas, April 14-19, 2007. Each product will be showcased at the Florical booth SU720, South Hall, Second Floor, as part of the entire suite of TV automation solutions offered by Florical Systems, the technology leader in TV Automation Systems. The focus of the new Florical system enhancements is a cost effective approach to streamlining the automation of on-air program streams and improve efficiencies in order to maintain the best possible on-air look.

S.M.A.R.T. Central
System Management And Reporting Tools is Florical's new web based gateway into all parts of the automation system. This feature allows the user to log into the Florical System and based upon the unique user rights will also allow the user to monitor all controlled channels in the Network, control any individual channel, make edits to schedules, create orders for long form acquisition, SQL Server 2005 database management, and retrieve valuable reports within the system. This is the central product to Florical's "Decision Maker" line of products that provides tools for the Management team as well as to traditional operators. This product will revolutionize the way you do business by placing the control for your product back into the hands of the decision makers.

Automated Reports
The extended arm of Florical's "Decision Maker" line of products include Automated Deviation Reports and Urgent Request Notifications. The Automated Deviation Report is generated each morning and e-mailed to the desired distribution list that includes a full report on the discrepancies from the previous business day. The automation system collects information concerning the state of the system throughout the day indicating whether an interstitial was skipped, played in error, or added, along with other variations, including breaking news or switcher changes. All of those are independent of the hand written reports by operators to provide management with a detailed report of the true state of the log. The Urgent Requests Notifications report generates an e-mail or text message to a unique distribution list based upon the FCC type of the missing material. For example: If a commercial is still missing within one hour to air then an e-mail is generated to Sales/ Traffic's distribution list notifying them of the item so they can strategically resolve the missing material appropriately thus reducing make-goods.

Automated Traffic Interfaces
Why wait for SMPTE S-22 BXF? Florical offers a transitional bridge from traditional traffic interfaces to the new "Broadcast eXchange Format". Florical's ATI will monitor a folder and automatically import the Traffic log and generate a pre-air discrepancy report for Traffic. The ATI will also monitor folders for dublists and purgelists for automatic processing into the automation database and provide an exception report for Traffic. This creates a close relationship between the Sales Business System and the On-Air Automation System to reduce the opportunity for errors and increase operational efficiencies.

TimeShifter
An innovative time delay feature in Florical's newly designed AirBoss presentation suite. This allows complete flexibility with live or satellite programming. Going from one appointment driven live program to another no longer requires a join in progress. With one simple step the user can time shift the following program to play from the beginning and automatically join in progress the following syndicated show.

Parking Spot
A novel live production feature in Florical's newly designed AirBoss presentation suite that allows the user to drag and drop commercial content as needed during live news or sports programming. A pop-up window stays open to allow the user complete flexibility during fast paced live programming. "Parking Spot the ideal place to park your spots."
